Clad nozzle is a combination of carbon steel flanged pipe, with a 3 to 4 mm thick stainless steel layer on the inner surface. It combines the physical properties of carbon steel with the anti-corrosive properties of stainless steel. Hence these pipes are used extensively used in process plants.
